Job Title: Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at WEIS LLC. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled, while also providing excellent customer service and healthcare counseling to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled, in accordance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Build profitable business and script growth through recommended clinical programs, including immunization and medication therapy management.
  • Align performance objectives to measurable department metrics, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Supervise the work of pharmacy technicians and support staff, providing training, coaching, and management as needed.
  • Assume management responsibility over the entire pharmacy in the absence of the pharmacy manager.
  • Maintain appropriate security of the pharmacy department and comply with all federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Handle and resolve customer issues, complaints, and questions to build customer trust and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) or Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) in Pharmacy, or equivalent.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e., APhA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
