POSITION: LEAD RISK MANAGEMENT AUDITOR
We are in search of a seasoned auditor with a strong background in risk management, particularly in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Ideal candidates will possess the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and comprehensible manner. This position will involve regular interactions with executive leadership and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. Given the critical nature of ERM, this role presents exciting avenues for professional development and contributions to strategic initiatives across the enterprise.


Your contributions will be vital in collaborating with organizational leaders to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks throughout the company.

You will partner closely with various departments to ensure that risk management practices are seamlessly integrated into the organization's strategic and operational frameworks.


This position will also encompass advisory or assurance audits, necessitating a candidate who can adeptly transition between the roles of ERM and auditor, demonstrating proficiency in both domains.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with leaders across diverse departments to enhance risk management initiatives.

- Cultivate collaborative relationships with various management levels to establish and maintain ownership and accountability for risk management.

- Lead and execute risk assessment activities, risk-based audit reviews, consulting engagements, and special projects.
- Work alongside process owners to identify potential risks.
- Assess the organization's risk landscape and controls, aiding in the identification of complementary activities to mitigate risks.
- Monitor and analyze risks associated with market dynamics, business operations, and regulatory shifts.
- Facilitate and assist in conducting annual self-assessments by business process owners.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data for presentation to the Company's Risk Council, executive staff, and Board of Directors.
- Engage in preparing and presenting findings to senior management and stakeholders.

- Continuously seek opportunities to automate processes and develop tools and best practices that support the administration and reporting of the risk management program.

- Align with Internal Audit to contribute to the development of the Internal Audit Plan, ensuring appropriate coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, risk management, operational management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management or a related area.
- Experience in ERM, operational risk management, internal audit, compliance, and business process re-engineering/transformation.
- Familiarity with key risk frameworks such as COSO and ISO.
- Proven ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Strong skills in relationship-building and collaboration.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Knowledge of relevant applications preferred (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, CoPilot, Data Analytics, etc.).

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The estimated base salary range for this full-time position at Micron Technology is:

$73,000 - $158,000.00

Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations.

Individual compensation is influenced by work location and other job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The pay scale is subject to change based on business needs. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses, and equity.
