Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Systems Engineer to join our corporate IT Operations team in Powell, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and productive operations of PC, network, telecommunications, and end-user equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, repair, upgrade, and troubleshoot all PC's, servers, printers, network equipment, telecommunications equipment, software, and databases used by the company.
  • Provide technical support solving hardware and software problems to all computer users, either in person or remotely.
  • Administer VOIP Telephone system, voice mail system, and perform adds, moves, and changes as necessary.
  • Work with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and correct equipment or software problems.
  • Configuration and administration of application, file, print servers, and domain controllers as well as applicable licensing.
  • Provide recommendations on desktop, laptop, and server configurations.
  • Administer and maintain backup system, as well as produce and save images as needed.
  • Virtualization experience preferably in Hyperconverged solutions, but experience in VMware, Hyper V, or AHV would be accepted.
  • Experience managing, administering, and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 email and applications such as Teams and OneDrive.
  • Prioritize own workload and anticipate company needs.
  • Requires being 'on call' for any after-hour problems and or scheduled maintenance that may occur.
  • Travels to remote facilities as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree and two years related experience OR four years related experience.
  • OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
    • Understanding and knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications required.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to complex situations required.
    • Experience in software installation and upgrades, as well as LAN installation and maintenance required.
    • Knowledge of current Windows operating systems for both workstations and servers.
