Business Pharmacy Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Specialty Pharmacy Business Coordinator will support the operational efficiency of specialty pharmacy services by coordinating fiscal management activities, performing data analysis, and maintaining departmental statistics and reports. This role will also assist with contracting and auditing 340B utilization, purchase records, and realized cost savings across all system sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate fiscal management activities to ensure efficient operations
  • Perform data analysis to inform business decisions
  • Maintain departmental statistics and reports
  • Assist with contracting and auditing 340B utilization, purchase records, and realized cost savings

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a related field
  • Registered pharmacy technician or eligible for registration within 90 days of hire
  • Minimum 1 year experience with specialty pharmacy operations, business management, and/or insurance payor access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration

Skills:

  • Strong self-motivational skills and ability to function independently
  • Proven communications, interpersonal relations, and team building skills
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing
