**Project Engineer Role at STV Incorporated**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our Construction Management group in the NYC Metro area. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of infrastructure projects, working closely with our team of professionals to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of utility master plans and verify the accuracy of installation for new and existing projects.
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and report the performance of construction projects to the infrastructure team.
  • Identify risks and assist in creating risk mitigation plans.
  • Assist in creating and presenting project and college data clearly to multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Provide technical and engineering support to the Program Management Office (PMO), including Project Managers and Construction Managers.
  • Coordinate with surveying, testing, and inspection staff.
  • Document progress of construction, demolition, rehabilitation, alteration, addition, or repair projects, logging photographs, daily project reports, and notes as required.
  • Assist in preparing written materials, including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Assist in coordinating and recording minutes of meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Assist in reviewing submittal procedures, RFI's, and monthly invoices.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of recent professional work experience in the management of the construction of infrastructure projects.
  • Experience within a large capital improvement program and familiarity with relevant public codes.
  • BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related degree.
