Entrepreneurship Professor

DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business is seeking a distinguished scholar and educator to fill the Coleman Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate will be a nationally recognized expert in entrepreneurship, with a strong research record and a proven ability to teach and mentor students.
The Coleman Chair is a key position in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, which houses a diverse and research-active faculty who support undergraduate and graduate programs in entrepreneurship, business analytics, human resource management, general management, supply chain management, and sustainability management. The department is also home to the Coleman Center for Entrepreneurship, which received the 2023 Nasdaq Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a doctorate in entrepreneurship or a related field and a strong track record of publications in top entrepreneurship and management academic journals. They will also have experience working with a diverse range of faculty, staff, and students, and be able to contribute to an inclusive climate. Women and members of historically underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply.
The Coleman Chair entails a reduced teaching load and additional funds to support the role and responsibilities of the position. The successful candidate will be expected to provide strong research and curricular leadership for our entrepreneurship programs, interface with the Coleman Center and its stakeholders, and cultivate and maintain effective relationships with internal advisory boards and Chicago's thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem.
