Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Hillcroft Physicians. This is a full-time opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural practice with pediatric and adult patients.

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various tasks under the supervision of a physician or physician assistant, including reporting vital signs, administering injections, and maintaining accurate patient records. Your exceptional customer service skills and ability to multitask will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental insurance, employee discounts, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform nursing procedures under the supervision of a physician or physician assistant.
  • Assist physicians and physician assistants in exam rooms.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, and document all information in patient charts.
  • Give instructions to patients as instructed by physicians or physician assistants.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all related reports, labs, and information are available before appointments.
  • Keep exam rooms stocked with medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as required.

Requirements:
  • Medical assistant certification.
  • Strong pediatric and adult care experience (2 years minimum).
  • Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Eclinical Works.
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette skills.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain organized systems for timely patient flow.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
