Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly accounting journal entries utilizing the company's ERP system.
  • Conduct preparation and analysis of various monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Compile and prepare accruals, allocations, and related entries.
  • Oversee the payroll recording process for various departments.
  • Review the corporate Accounts Payable function.
  • Analyze sales tax implications related to capital expenditures and corporate invoicing.
  • Examine and analyze general ledger accounts and monthly financial trends.
  • Prepare quarterly or annual schedules for external auditors.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Monthly Financial Reporting Package for management's review.
  • Play a vital role in integrating newly acquired entities, an ongoing responsibility.
  • Prepare and review various bank reconciliations for operational accounts.
  • Engage in various projects as directed by the Functional Controller or Controller.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads to ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting activities.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, or Corporate Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
