The Registered Nurse will work under the guidance of unit leadership, taking on responsibilities that require initiative, sound judgment, and independent decision-making in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital regulations, and other relevant organizations.
This role involves applying the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, to provide both direct and indirect care to patients and their families.
Schedule: .75 FTE, Night Shifts, 12-hour Rotating Shifts including Weekends and Holidays
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program and possession of a current Registered Nurse license in Minnesota. Candidates must pass a criminal background check as mandated by state law. A solid understanding of nursing principles, policies, procedures, and medical ethics is essential, along with excellent communication skills across various disciplines and levels.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, possess strong attention to detail, and exhibit organizational and prioritization skills. Proficiency in computer applications, including Word, is required.
Experience in Med/Surg is mandatory.Certifications Required:
Basic Life Support
Preferred Certifications:
ACLS, TNCC or CALS, NRP, PALS
