Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Soar Autism Center. As an SLP, you will play a critical role in providing naturalistic speech therapy to young children with autism, ages 2-6 years old, in a center-based setting.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement individualized speech therapy programs for young children with autism, utilizing evidence-based practices and naturalistic approaches.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical specialties, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and behavior analysts.
- Develop and implement communication interventions, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, to support client communication and independence.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to plan and implement effective programs for young children, including co-treatments with occupational therapy and other clinical specialties.
- Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate with team members and families to ensure high-quality care.
- Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, and communicate progress, providing coaching and support as needed.
- Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- License to practice speech pathology in the state of Arizona or Colorado.
- Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs starting their career.
- Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
- Ability to connect and engage with young children and their families.
- Quality medical, dental, and vision plans.
