Role Summary:

The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting employees across various locations, focusing on employee relations, talent management, performance evaluation, retention strategies, disciplinary processes, and compensation management. This position serves as the primary HR contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, practices, and programs, including payroll and benefits. It is essential to ensure that corporate and departmental HR policies are effectively communicated and that compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist HR management with employee relations matters, including investigations and documentation.
  • Interpret HR policies for employees and managers, recommending improvements to the HR Director.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Facilitate training and development sessions for employees.
  • Manage HRIS through Paylocity.
  • Support the HR Director with leave administration processes.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and exit interviews.
  • Assist management with regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR practices.
  • Engage in special projects related to HR program development.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding HR matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources with generalist responsibilities is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS and Payroll Software, specifically Paylocity, is required.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
