About the Role:
As a Principal Scientist, Generative Deep Learning at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, you will lead the development of advanced generative models for protein design. With expertise in deep learning architectures and techniques such as diffusion, VAEs, and contrastive learning, you will drive innovation in molecular design and simulation initiatives.

About You:
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Biology, or a related field. Your experience in scientific programming, software development, and high-performance computing is essential. You should be proficient in Python or C++ and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Experience with cloud-based compute solutions like AWS and powerful ML packages for protein modeling is a plus. A strong track record of applying ML methods to computational protein design or modeling is also required.

You will collaborate extensively with interdisciplinary teams across the organization to develop and refine deep learning methodologies. This role presents a great opportunity to spearhead our molecular design and simulation initiatives, supporting and accelerating our drug discovery and development pipeline of protein-based therapeutics while collaborating with a passionate team of scientists and engineers.

What We Offer:
Johnson & Johnson offers a competitive salary range of $113,000 to $195,500, depending on qualifications. You will also receive an annual performance bonus and participate in comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Additionally, you may be eligible for our consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
