Job Summary

The Winery at Bull Run is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Event Manager with all weddings and private events, as well as daily administrative duties related to client communication and day-of coordination.

Main Responsibilities
  • Event Set-up and Coordination: Manage event set-up, day-of coordination, and coordination with vendors, delivery, and client needs.
  • Event Timeline Management: Maintain and coordinate event timelines to ensure seamless execution.
  • Client Communication: Present for all client meetings in advance of events, record keeping in preparation for day-of event duties, and maintain professional correspondence with event clients.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Event Manager with administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications
  • Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in Events Management, Communications, or related field of study preferred, not required.
  • Experience: (1) one to (2) two years of relevant experience in events, hospitality field, or food and beverage.
  • Physical Demands: Required to work nights and weekends, especially during peak event season, and must be able to stand on feet for extended hours during events as well as lift up to 60lbs.
Work Environment
  • Job Type: Full-time, Hourly, 30 – 40 hours per week.
  • Salary: $17 per hour.
  • Schedule: 30 – 40 hours per week, weekend schedule with flexible weekdays, holidays, night shift, and weekend availability.
