Key Skills and Experience for Success

  • Direct emphasis on generating new Facultative broking business, driving new client acquisition, and assisting in the formulation of sales and marketing strategies aimed at revenue growth.
  • Develop comprehensive sales and development plans targeting both new prospects and existing clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with Aon Treaty and Aon Retail broking teams to align efforts on new business development and strengthen relationships with clients and prospects, recognizing the importance of proactive outreach.
  • Identify client and prospect needs, crafting innovative and cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Aon's resources and solutions, ensuring alignment with client business requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional service to achieve high client satisfaction.
  • Promote a collaborative approach to both internal and external business relationships.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in broking and/or underwriting commercial lines, particularly in property insurance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • CPCU or ARE designation or progress towards it is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial property insurance; prior experience in reinsurance is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with major clients and foster strong relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills, capable of multitasking and managing projects.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter, dedicated to delivering top-tier client service and results.
  • Experience in managing teams or direct reports, whether formally or informally.
  • Expertise in client relationship management.
  • Willingness to adapt to changes in support of business goals.
  • Proficient in MS Office and capable of learning various software and system applications.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel.

Pay Transparency:

The salary range for this position is [$150,000 to $225,000] annually, varying based on education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
