We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ambulatory Practice Liaison to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our Faculty Group Practice (FGP) Ambulatory Optimization and Patient Access team, you will play a critical role in optimizing patient flow and throughput, driving patient-centered care, and fostering service excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a liaison between practice operations and patients, managing and coordinating patient throughput, and actively listening to patient concerns.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned by FGP leadership and practice management.
- Report on findings from monitoring practice operations and make recommendations for improvement.
- Learn scheduling scripts and nuances for the practice, and assist in reviewing physician templates and cancelation reports daily.
- Analyze patient metrics, such as no-show rates, daily volumes, MyChart utilization, and patient secure compliance, to track improvement and target areas for opportunity.
- Support practice management in problem-solving and project planning to enhance efficiency of patient services.
- Implement an initiative to call patients who have provided feedback on the CG CAHPS Survey, to perform service recovery as needed, answer outstanding questions or concerns, and gather additional information for process improvement.
- Participate in regular standing meetings with FGP office to share learned best practices across all FGP locations.
- Assist practice management in reviewing and using qualitative and quantitative data from the Press Ganey CG CAHPS survey to develop and oversee action plans related to practice workflows and patient experience.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1-2 years of work experience participating in improvement programs, problem-solving, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with an excellent work ethic.
- Preferred Epic experience.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62, $69,239.20 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
