Familiarity with Cloud technologies is also a critical requirement for this role, which is essential for maintaining the stability, performance, and ongoing enhancement of our investment management applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Support:
- Deliver expert-level support for investment management applications, ensuring peak performance and availability.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate issues related to applications and systems, working closely with development teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor application performance and implement proactive strategies to avert downtime or performance degradation.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL is required.
Release Management:
- Manage the release management process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating application releases and updates.
- Ensure seamless deployment of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes while minimizing disruption to production environments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive release management documentation, including release plans, deployment procedures, and rollback strategies.
SDLC Management:
- Utilize a thorough understanding of the SDLC process to guide the development, testing, and deployment of financial applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance, and business analysts, to ensure adherence to SDLC best practices.

Cloud Experience:
- Leverage Cloud technologies to improve application performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Implement and manage Cloud-based solutions for application hosting, data storage, and disaster recovery.
- Stay updated with Cloud trends and technologies to recommend and integrate innovative solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure technology solutions align with investment management objectives.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation within application support and release management.
- Evaluate and implement best practices to boost efficiency and mitigate operational risks.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in financial services technology with a strong emphasis on application support for investment management systems.
- Proficient in the SDLC process and best practices.
- Extensive experience in application support and release management.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with financial services applications and investment management platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
