Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a small school district located in Amherst, WI. As a contract SLP, you will work with elementary school students to assess and provide therapy for speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Therapy: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs, and provide individual and group therapy sessions to address these needs.
- Case Management: Develop and implement individualized education plans, maintain accurate records, and provide progress reports to parents and school administrators.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, counselors, parents, and other school staff to address speech and language concerns and develop strategies to support student success.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with Wisconsin Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings, and develop resource materials to support speech and language development.
- Wisconsin SLP License: Possess a valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Wisconsin.
- Department of Public Instruction Credential: Hold a credential from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for SLPs.
