Job Summary

GA Foods Inc. is seeking a skilled Assembly Line Worker to join our team on the Frozen Meal Line, working on the second shift. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling components as directed by Supervisors, including boxing meals, checking quality, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components as directed by Supervisors, including boxing meals and checking quality.
  • Operate equipment in a safe and timely manner, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (food safety) guidelines and hygiene practices.
  • Inspect products at all stages to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Participate in equipment and area cleaning, as well as operator-based machine maintenance and care.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Meet schedule requirements and work with minimal supervision.
  • Work well with others in a team atmosphere, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Read, write, and understand instructions, warnings, labels, and postings in English effectively.
  • Participate in all tasks needed to get the job done, including end-of-shift clean-up/sanitation.
  • Pass all pre-employment screens, including drug, background, and criminal checks.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 20 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the shift.
  • Use motor coordination with finger dexterity for machine operation and other tasks.
  • Work in a physical environment with exposure to food debris, odors, equipment noise, temperature extremes, and wet areas/water.
  • Perform repetitive hand and wrist movements at a fast pace, primarily manual tasks, in a standing position for the entire shift.
