We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor / Field Surveyor to join our team at Boundary Zone, Inc. in Suwanee, GA. As a key member of our field crew, you will be responsible for conducting field surveys, utilizing various equipment, and communicating with clients and project managers.

• Conduct field surveys with accuracy and efficiency
• Operate and maintain survey equipment, including instruments and vehicles
• Communicate effectively with clients and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes
• Mentor and train survey field assistants to ensure high-quality work
• Read and understand deeds and plats to ensure accurate survey results
• Properly use and care for equipment and vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency
• Travel to job locations efficiently and safely
• Stay up-to-date with survey practices and construction procedures to ensure expertise

• 4 years of experience in surveying
• 2 years of prior experience as a Rod Man or Instrument Man/Operator
• Knowledge of surveying procedures and terminology
• Microsoft Office/Outlook proficiency
• Computer skills, including data collection and basic CAD skills
• Boundary and construction terminology knowledge
• Map and plan interpretation skills
• Expertise in data collection and surveying calculations
• Excellent supervisory and communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
• Familiarity with Trimble surveying equipment

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Interest in becoming a Professional Licensed Surveyor (PLS) or Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT)
