EMT/Paramedic Specialist

OCCUMEDX GROUP INC is seeking an experienced EMT/Paramedic to join our construction occupational health solutions team as an Onsite Medical Partner. The successful candidate will operate an onsite health clinic, provide emergency medical response, and conduct health assessments to enhance worker health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Emergency Medical Response: Provide immediate medical care in response to accidents, injuries, or medical emergencies on the construction site.
- Injury Prevention and Safety: Conduct regular safety walks, collaborate with the project team to implement preventive measures, and provide ongoing education and training to workers.
- Health Assessment and Monitoring: Implement and oversee the workplace wellness program, monitor and manage employee health concerns, and manage client's onsite drugs of abuse program.
- Medical Equipment and Supplies Management: Ensure the availability and proper function of medical equipment, supplies, and medications necessary for emergency care and first aid.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all medical incidents, treatments, and follow-up care provided to workers.
- Current State or National Certification or Registration as an EMT or Paramedic required.
- Active BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a pre-hospital or clinical environment preferred.
- OSHA 30 Construction certification - Must obtain within first 30 days of employment (Employer Provided).
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and clients at all levels required.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment required.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a construction environment, standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods, and lifting and/or moving more than 50 pounds. Comfortable working at heights is also required.
