Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a dedicated Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician to join our 6-6-6 Family Medicine Residency Program, affiliated with a community hospital. The ideal candidate will possess board certification in Family Medicine and have a robust background in comprehensive family healthcare, including obstetric care, with a commitment to delivering quality patient services in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Fellowship training is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary focus on resident education, with additional responsibilities for teaching medical students and supervising advanced practice providers.
- Participate in call rotations: 1:2 for practice-based, low-volume obstetric patients; no overnight duties for hospitalist shifts.
- Office call: 1:6 (phone consultations only, with residents handling initial calls).
- Practice locations include various sites.
