Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Designer/Draftsperson - Level I to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and revising detailed technical drawings and 3D models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Revise existing drawings as needed.
  • Implement ISO, ANSI, and ASME standards.
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards.
  • Participate in the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process.
  • Assist in developing design documentation.
  • Maintain organized design files.
  • Collaborate with engineers for design solutions.
  • Support other departments as assigned.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Provide feedback during design reviews.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design or drafting.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks (CSWA certification preferred).
  • Experience with small and large assemblies.
  • Familiarity with configuration management.
  • Proficient in MS Office 365.
  • Understanding of the ECO process.
  • Strong engineering principles knowledge.
  • Detail-oriented and efficient team player.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Friendly, proactive, and drug-free.
Beneficial Skills:
  • Experience with GD&T and SolidWorks Routing.
  • Technical writing skills.
