About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Display Image Processing Algorithms Engineer to join our Platform Architecture team at Apple. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art algorithms and architectures for displays on various Apple products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate best-in-class image, video, and display processing algorithms in Matlab, Python, or C/C++
  • Perform subjective and objective quality evaluations
  • Collaborate with chip architecture, silicon design/verification, display engineering, and software teams to map algorithms into well-defined architectures
  • Evaluate tradeoffs for image quality, power, performance, area, and compute
  • Generate architecture test vectors for hardware/software validation
  • Develop tools for image and video quality assessment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Ability to prototype algorithms in Matlab, Python, or C/C++
  • Knowledge of digital signal, image/video processing
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
