Ophthalmologist - Surgical Retina Specialist Position in Central New York

The retina surgeon would be based in NY with very limited outreach responsibilities. This is a vibrant and sophisticated upstate community set in a beautiful lake front village affording four seasons of cultural and outdoor activity. An unparalleled and well-appointed community sport center and excellent public school system.
The candidate will be taking over a current specialist surgical practice. The support staff is well trained and experienced in both the clinic and operating room. On call is every 6th weekend and rarely busy. Opportunities exist for both research and teaching if interested. Referral patterns to tertiary care ophthalmologists are well established.
Salary Range: $349,547 - $594,736 plus performance based compensation. This compensation range represents Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000. Group Employed Model.
Job Qualifications:
- MD, DO or MBBS
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Fellowship in Surgical Retina
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
