This position involves administering dialysis treatments for hospitalized patients. Comprehensive training and competency evaluations are mandatory at the outset and on an annual basis. Flexible scheduling options are available, with a preference for evening and weekend shifts.

Additional Information:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in dialysis care.
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; a BSN is required within five years of employment.
  • Experience: At least one year of relevant nursing experience.
  • Licensure: Must hold a Registered Nurse license in Virginia; AHA BLS certification is required.

Physical Requirements:

This role necessitates prolonged periods of standing, frequent mobility, bending, and the ability to lift, push, or pull as needed. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication, auditory, and visual skills, with a keen attention to detail and the capability to write clearly.
