Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical systems throughout the facility.
  • Work flexible shifts and be subject to overtime.
  • Occasionally work weekends and holidays.
  • Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
  • Comply with all customer rules, safety procedures, and policies.
Requirements:
  • Ability to use the English language to communicate accurately and concisely on technical matters.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Plumbing experience, including installation and repair of PVC piping, clearing drains, and repairing leaks.
  • Electrical experience, including installation and repair of basic electrical components.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Complete set of basic hand tools.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, manipulate tools in small spaces.
  • Perform work at heights.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
  • Carpentry, concrete work, and/or heavy equipment operator experience.
  • Fire suppression system experience.
  • Air compressor experience.
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
  • Ability to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign.
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Strength and stamina to perform technical duties and essential functions.
  • Move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas.
  • Full range of motion consistent with age.
  • Climb and maintain balance ladders.
  • Adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms, and other job-related noises.
  • Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces.
  • Safety/Steel toe shoes required.
