Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver and Support Specialist, you will work closely with our participants to provide individualized support and care, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized support and care to participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges
  • Assist participants with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Support participants in developing and achieving their goals and aspirations
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated support
  • Document participant progress and provide regular updates to the care team

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
