Christus Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in the Catheterization Laboratory. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for operating all Cath Lab equipment and digital processing equipment, performing duties such as scrub assistant, X-ray equipment operation, and digital processing, and contributing to the general operation of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Operate all Cath Lab equipment and digital processing equipment
- Perform duties such as scrub assistant, X-ray equipment operation, and digital processing
- Contribute to the general operation of the department by picking up supplies, stocking supplies, and keeping the work area orderly
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development to perform procedures on and assist in the care of the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient
- Specialize in any of the following modalities with training and active participation: Diagnostic Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Angiography, Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator Implantation
Requirements:
- Current Rad Tech License - Louisiana State Board of Radiology
- Current Rad Tech ARRT National license
- BLS ACLS preferred and highly encouraged
