We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Home Health Nurse to join our team at Universal Pediatrics. As a Pediatric Home Health Nurse, you will provide high-quality medical care to children and young adults with medical needs and chronic conditions in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete assessments, medication administration, and provide therapies, treatments, and interventions as scheduled in accordance with the plan of care and physician's orders.
- Partner with all members of the interdisciplinary team, including the family, to ensure a constant flow of communication regarding the client's cares, changes in condition, developmental goals, etc.
- Provide support and education to clients and families to help them be successful.
- Build rapport and trust with clients, families, or other caregivers, the office team, and peers to facilitate effective communication and build relationships.
- Complete timely charting through our electronic medical record system.
- Advocate for the client and family to promote and support growth and development.
- Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure, without restrictions.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance coverage.
- CPR certification required but may be obtained after hire.
- COVID-19 vaccine compliance.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
