**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at St. Joseph's Hospital South. As an ER Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

**Responsibilities**

  • Provide direct patient care to a diverse population, utilizing the nursing process and clinical standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Delegate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  • Organize and prioritize patient care activities, updating the plan of care in collaboration with patients, family, and significant others.
  • Identify patients at risk for injury or harm, preparing the room environment and monitoring patient vitals and assessments.
  • Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients, utilizing high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience.

**Requirements**

  • RN (Registered Nurse) License
  • Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
  • 1 year registered nurse ER experience
  • BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification with the American Heart Association
