POSITION SUMMARY:

The Field Services Supervisor (FSS) plays a crucial role in delivering effective leadership for electrical service operations at client sites. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including overseeing PLC and HMI systems, constructing control panels, and supporting engineering and automation teams. The FSS is accountable for ensuring the successful and profitable execution of assigned projects by applying appropriate operational strategies and effectively managing resources.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead field service initiatives, acting as the main point of contact for service inquiries and dispatching tasks.
  • Supervise and mentor team members through constructive feedback, coaching, and training.
  • Design and implement electrical and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Develop and install advanced control systems, including PLC devices, programming, and industrial networking.
  • Conduct in-depth troubleshooting for various electrical systems, including motors, relays, and complex PLC controls.
  • Perform maintenance and testing on high voltage equipment, ensuring operational reliability.
  • Execute thermography assessments to identify and report electrical anomalies to clients.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by:
    • Evaluating technical challenges and proposing effective solutions.
    • Gathering and analyzing relevant data to inform project decisions.
    • Implementing thorough verification processes to uphold quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met efficiently.
  • Promote Shaw Electric's services by identifying potential clients and enhancing relationships with existing customers.
  • Manage project materials, including procurement, on-site verification, and inventory management.
  • Oversee job site cleanliness and organization.
  • Supervise job site personnel, including task assignments and progress monitoring, to meet deadlines while ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for daily operations, including job logs, change orders, and safety records.
  • Complete projects within budgetary constraints and allocated labor hours.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and promoting a culture of safety among team members.
