Job Title:
Electrical and Instrumentation Technician
This role is responsible for assisting in troubleshooting mechanical equipment such as motors, routings, and process equipment in the manufacturing facility.
You must be able to read electrical schematics such as single line drawings, ladder logic, loop diagrams, and P&IDs. As well as have the ability to use typical diagnostic equipment, such as multi-meters, meggers, and mA calibrators and troubleshoot VFDs, DCS (Foxboro I/A) and PLCs (AB ControlLogix).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical equipment
- Read electrical schematics
- Use diagnostic equipment
- Troubleshoot VFDs, DCS, and PLCs
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or 6+ months of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Work Environment:
This role is in support of the manufacturing floor and will need to be able to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment. They will train in PLC experience if you have light exposure and are willing to learn.
