As a Clinical Specialist Pharmacist in Hematology Oncology, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Hematology Oncology and a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate medication therapy and clinical outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate patient medication regimens to ensure safety and efficacy
  • Perform daily in-depth patient profile reviews to assess and recommend appropriate drug therapy
  • Consistently evaluate, intervene, and document adverse drug reactions and medication variances
  • Prevent and resolve drug-related problems to ensure safety, efficacy, and cost-efficiency
  • Provide expert drug information and answer questions with in-depth knowledge of research designs, methodologies, and biostatistics
  • Oversee the work performed by pharmacy students, technicians, and pharmacists to ensure performance standards are maintained
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
  • ASHP-Accredited Post Graduate Year 1 and 2 Residency or Fellowship or equivalent experience in the specialty area
  • Relevant Pharmacy Specialty Board certification is preferred
  • Active Georgia Pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure with attempt to register for 60 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required
