A rural healthcare organization in Shasta County, California is actively searching an Outpatient Clinic Hospital Pharmacist to join their team of professionals to deliver the highest level of care. The Outpatient Clinic Hospital Pharmacist will prescribe roughly 150 prescriptions per day in this outpatient clinic and retail setting. In addition, this person will oversee all areas of outpatient pharmaceutical services, including the procurement, distribution, storage and administration of medication and ensure that pharmacy services are in compliance with all State and Federal regulations. 

Under the direction of the Chief Clinical Officer, the Outpatient Clinic Hospital Pharmacist will review the outpatient operations of all drug distribution systems in order to operate efficiently and effectively. This person will assist in maintaining the Pharmacy Services Policy and Procedure Manual to comply with changes in the law and accreditation standards. An ideal candidate for this wonderful opportunity includes a State of California Pharmacist license and a Bachelor of Science degree from a college of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education.
