Job Summary:

System One Holdings, LLC is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing all levels of preventive maintenance services, maintaining work area appearance and safety, and servicing customers.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery
Inspect trucks to ensure they are in proper working condition
Diagnose malfunctions or ensure they are working properly
Repair and troubleshoot major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials
Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards

Requirements:

3+ years of diesel mechanic experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Diesel Mechanic/Technician training not needed but is a plus
A valid driver's license is required
CDL a plus
Truck mechanical aptitude
Union Shop exposure a plus
Ability to communicate professionally with customers and co-workers
