We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Froedtert West Bend Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist.
Responsibilities- Operate MRI and related equipment, preparing scan rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications as needed.
- Maintain images and archives associated with patient data, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Interact with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Act as a resource person for MRI technical and other issues, demonstrating competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols.
- Graduate of an JCERT-approved two-year or four-year radiologic technology, nuclear medicine program, or MRI program.
- ARRT registered, with advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR within 18 months of hire.
- BCLS certified within 90 days of hire date.
- State of WI license in Radiologic Technology, if performing CT, general radiography, or other imaging using ionizing radiation.
