About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures to create detailed images of the body's internal structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for MRI exams, explain procedures, and administer contrast when necessary.
  • Position patients for the MRI scanner, select appropriate imaging techniques, and ensure technical quality of the scan.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment, and assist with accreditation applications.
  • Identify and report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
  • Provide safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to Memorial Hermann policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
