Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic-prescriptive therapy to students with speech and communication disorders in the Savannah-Chatham County Schools district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program for oral communication and speech improvement for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Assess and diagnose speech, voice, fluency, and language impairments in students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support for students.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of student progress and data collection.
  • Manage equipment and supplies necessary for therapy sessions.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in speech and language pathology.
  • Perform medical billing and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid Georgia Service Certificate in Speech and Language Pathology.
Physical and Sensory Demands

This position requires occasional physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting, and falls under the 'CLASSROOM' category.
