As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating students' speech, language, and communication abilities, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and providing direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and strategies.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings, utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities to promote communication and language skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and involve them in the therapy process.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with children in a school-based setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
