Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Rady Children's Hospital - San Diego. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill pediatric patients with complex cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients with cardiac conditions, including those requiring mechanical ventilation, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Float between units, excluding OR, PACU, and ED, to meet the needs of the hospital.
- Participate in unit-specific initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current CA RN license in hand or pending.
- 2+ years of experience in CVPICU/CTICU, with a focus on pediatric cardiac care.
- Experience with heart transplant patients and VADs/ECMO.
- Ability to work 3x12 variable or straight night shifts, with 36x48 available.
- Willingness to get flu shot when requested.
- PEDS Cardiac experience.
- Heart transplant experience.
