Position Overview
Weaver's Client Accounting Services division is growing. With over 70 years of experience in delivering accounting and financial support to clients of all sizes across various industries, our team possesses the expertise necessary to assist effectively.

We are looking for a Client Accounting Services Associate who will be tasked with executing accounting assignments. The ideal candidate should exhibit a foundational understanding of business operations and accounting systems, along with a basic knowledge of accounting standards and tax principles.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Desktop QuickBooks, QuickBooks Enterprise, and QuickBooks Online
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables, V-Lookups, H-Lookups, and If/then statements
  • Experience in creating instructional materials for client and company tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of accrual-basis accounting and GAAP

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:
- Enter bills and match them to purchase orders for approval
- Pay bills and reconcile vendor statements, addressing discrepancies as needed
- Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and positively
- Set up new vendors and maintain accurate vendor files, including W-9 documentation

Accounts Receivable:
- Manage invoicing and apply payments to receivables
- Reconcile customer balances and send collection communications
- Process payroll using third-party software
- Compile expense reports and reconcile receipts

- Gather supporting documents for month-end closing schedules
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Perform monthly closing procedures and reconciliations
- Assist in preparing work papers and journal entries for various client-related items

Annual Base Pay Range:
$77,500 to $87,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
