Job Description

As an Infant Development Specialist at Christina Daycare Inc., you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children. This is a dynamic and rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional care and education.

Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $80,000 per year

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing curriculum, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. You will also work closely with parents and families to understand their needs and preferences.

Our center, Christina Daycare Inc., dba Blake & Milford DCC, serves 50 children in the East New York Community. We are committed to providing high-quality educational services and support to our families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with common core standards
  • Supervising and supporting staff to ensure high-quality care and education
  • Coordinating with parents and families to ensure their needs are met
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and maintaining accurate records

Qualifications

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Experience working with children aged 3+ and demonstrating knowledge of child development theories
  • Fingerprints by DOI and DOE (PETS) clearance
  • State clearance and current physical exam
