Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing and assisting in performing routine radiologic and fluoroscopic examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and adjust x-ray equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic radiographs
  • Position and immobilize patients to ensure proper imaging
  • Respond to patients' needs and provide care to patients of all age groups
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and working area
  • Ensure proper operation of x-ray equipment
  • Record and code examination results and complete medical documentation
  • Perform specialized diagnostic examinations as permitted by experience or registry
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in radiological technology
  • Licensure by New York State Department of Health as Radiologic Technologist
  • Certification required with ARRT (American Registry for Radiologic Technologists) for certain specialty examinations
  • 6 months of prior work experience in radiologic technology
