Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an Environmental Services Technician to become a vital part of our safety-focused team. This role involves active fieldwork, performing tasks related to hazardous waste management, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and the safe handling of hazardous materials. A valid Driver's License is required for this position.
Work Schedule:
This position typically follows a Monday through Friday schedule, with an average start time of 7 am. Employees can expect to work 8-10+ hour days, with overtime available after 40 hours. The role may require up to 25% overnight travel, with accommodations and per diem provided. Additionally, technicians will be required to be on-call every other week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize health and safety by adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Engage in physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Operate both light and heavy machinery, utilizing various hand and powered tools.
- Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Work in diverse environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
- Handle materials in potentially hazardous environments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Participate in field sampling and calibration of equipment.
- Perform inspections and ensure regulatory compliance for waste management.
- Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials as needed.
- Attend safety meetings and training sessions regularly.
- Complete other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
- Willingness to be on-call for emergency response as required.
- Successful completion of background checks, drug tests, and physical examinations.
- Compliance with OSHA respiratory protection standards.
