Available Shifts:
5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
4:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Position Summary:

As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting nutritious and appealing meals for our residents, adhering to established recipes and complying with federal, state, and local regulations regarding food safety and preparation.

This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meals according to planned menus.
  • Serve food while following established portion control guidelines.
  • Cook food in accordance with standardized recipes and accommodate special requests.
  • Ensure food is prepared at the correct temperatures and maintain associated checklists and logs.
  • Assist with inventory management and receive goods from suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef or Culinary Manager to coordinate menus or special requests.
  • Adjust schedules as needed to address emergency situations.
  • Follow safe food handling practices and policies, including proper glove usage.
  • Participate in daily or scheduled cleaning tasks as per established protocols.
  • Adhere to therapeutic and mechanically altered diet specifications.
