Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision
    • Provide guidance and oversight to a team of parking enforcement officers, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Patrolling and Enforcement
    • Conduct regular patrols of designated parking areas to monitor and enforce parking regulations.
    • Issue citations to vehicles parked in violation of parking regulations.
    • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to ensure effective enforcement of parking regulations.
  • Citation Administration and Follow-Up
    • Process and track citations issued to vehicles parked in violation of parking regulations.
    • Follow up with vehicle owners to ensure compliance with parking regulations.
    • Appears in court if citations are contested.
  • Equipment Checks and Maintenance
    • Conduct regular checks on equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and vehicles are properly maintained.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • Two years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a law enforcement or parking enforcement capacity.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to analyze situations and make sound judgments.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in an outdoor environment, frequently working in traffic and inclement weather conditions. The employee must be able to lift and carry objects of at least 35 pounds and have the ability to walk and drive for long periods of time.
