Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Flexsteel Home. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of shipments and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide timely and accurate information to internal customers regarding order status and changes.
  • Transportation Coordination: Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure the proper movement of shipments and meet delivery requirements.
  • Document Preparation: Accurately prepare and process shipping documents, including BOLs, delivery receipts, invoices, and outbound loading packets.
  • Document Distribution: Promptly distribute shipping documents to warehouse operations, carriers, forwarders, customers, and agents.
  • Carrier Performance Monitoring: Monitor carrier performance to ensure quality and delivery requirements are met.
  • Shipment Tracking: Track shipments across multiple projects and carriers, including FedEx, UPS, and third-party logistics.
  • Reporting: Prepare customer-facing tracking reports for supply chain managers and customers.
Requirements

An Associate's Degree (or equivalent) PLUS 1-3 years of related work experience is required for this role.
