Preoperative/PACU/Pre Admission Testing Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preoperative/PACU/Pre Admission Testing Registered Nurse to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a key member of our Ambulatory Surgical Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth surgical experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the provision of nursing care to patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting.
  • Assume total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician's orders and center's policies.
  • Contact incoming patients to obtain and review health history.
  • Analyze and assess clinical data related to the patient's anesthesia risk and appropriateness of ASC site of service.
  • Order additional testing needed prior to surgery when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • CPR required.
  • ACLS and BLS required.
  • Minimum one year in pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative surgical patient care required.
  • Significant experience in Electronic Medical Records and other software to include One Medical Passport, HST, and EPIC.
