You'll be responsible for monitoring dock production, meeting and exceeding facility Key Performance Indicator goals, and maintaining a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee dock operations, including freight loading and unloading, forklift traffic management, and palletized freight sorting
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain terminal staff
  • Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers and dock workers
  • Monitor dock production, ensuring facility Key Performance Indicator goals are met and/or exceeded
  • Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards

Requirements:

  • Prior LTL management experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees
  • Desire to surround customers with excellence in service
  • High aptitude for technology
  • Ability to multi-task while being detail-oriented
  • Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work 50 hours/week average
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred but not required
