Project Manager

About the Role:

BGIS is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in CT, NJ, NY Remote, US. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and allocate resources to achieve project goals
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and scopes of work
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including the General Contractor, Engineer, Owner, and subcontractors
  • Monitor and control project finances, including accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders
  • Ensure safety compliance and implement actions to prevent injury to property and personnel
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive construction plan, monitoring progress towards goals and anticipating potential problems
  • Manage project staffing plans, including labor, subcontractors, and other resources

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management, engineering, electrical, or construction
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Five (5) years of experience in project management, engineering, electrical, or construction
  • Proficient with scheduling software, including Smartsheets
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
